Drac the Bat

Making “Drac the Bat” was the first time I documented my thought process when writing a new plushie pattern! Here’s the behind the scenes video of the first bat I made!

Originally, I hadn’t intended to give Drac a bow tie, but after finishing him, I felt like he was missing something. So I added a bow tie and with his wings wrapped around his body, he reminded me so much of a cute little count dracula that I had to make a vampire bat version of him! That is when I named him “Drac.”

When I finished writing the pattern, I had it tested by 8 wonderful testers. You can find pictures of their versions of Drac the Bat here.

Now you can make Drac the Bat too with my PDF crochet pattern!

You can find the pattern here or get access to all my premium patterns on my Patreon.

This crochet pattern is written in US terms. A basic understanding of crochet skills and terminology is needed to follow this pattern and it is automatically available for download after purchase!

I hope you enjoy making Drac the Bat as much as I enjoyed creating him!

And if you post your bat on social media, don’t forget to tag me, so I can see them too :)
